Director, Worldwide Field and Corporate Marketing

InfoVista, a provider of network and application service assurance software, came to us in June of 2008 after Natalie Salser a former Exstream employee became the company’s Marketing Director of Americas and APAC. After six months working with the company’s current PR firm, Natalie could see the difference between what this company delivered and what she was used to receiving from Sterling Kilgore.

In October 2009, Sterling was also asked to launch InfoVista’s social media presence, including a blog, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube platforms.

These public relations and social media efforts combined to significantly raise InfoVista’s visibility within its industry and among key industry analysts as evidenced by its being recognized for the first time in the coveted Magic Quadrant 2011 for Application Performance Monitoring (APM), published by Gartner, Inc. A goal achieved!

By June of 2011, Sterling secured:

  • 54 bylined/thought-leadership articles
  • 42 feature articles about industry trends with InfoVista commentary
  • 31 press releases developed and distributed to media
  • 4,450 press release placements
  • 24 white papers, Web pages and other marketing collateral
  • 4 case studies developed
  • 17 award, speaking and trade show opportunities

By June of 2011, Sterling’s social media efforts had secured:

  • 54 blog entries written and posted, including guest analyst blogs
  • 853 Twitter updates sourced and posted
